Our Grapes & Wines lists are and always will be a work
in progress as we continue our endeavor to make them as complete
as possible. These lists will become a comprehensive catalogue
of the many different varieties of grapes used in wine production
and of the wines that are produced from these grapes.
There
are over 5,000 different varieties of grape that can be and
are used for the production of wine. As you can imagine, it
will take a little time to complete that list. And then, of
course, hybrid materialize on a regular basis. These will
also need to be added. As for wines, this list is large also
but, soon, our Grapes & Wines section will be a wonderful
reference.
